SONGWRITING
It all begins with the song, so whether you are already a songwriter, looking to co-write or don’t write, we cover all bases. From putting together a songwriting team drawn from some of Australia's best songwriters and song pitches to providing co-writing and leading songwriting tution and education. Our approach is about providing different ways to develop your songwriting for commerical success.
Songnotes is our educational songwriting program for individuals, small groups, schools, organisations and community.
Songnotes is a ground breaking proven method for achieving better songwriting and is designed to take your songwriting to the next level - it’s bootcamp for songwriters. With expert tuition delivered by Roger Corbett, Songnotes provides you with a hands-on, unique and proven method of songwriting. Roger Corbett is accredited with a Certificate 4 in workplace training and assessment.
One-on-one For songwriters seeking individual private tuition, coaching and critiquing. This style of tuition is delivered as a one off 3 hour session/workshop or as a 2 hours per week course. One-on-one songwriting is conducted at The Valley Studio. [ contact us ]
Small groups Are run periodically at The Valley Studio. Offered to a maximum of 6-8 people, small group songwriting is one full day of ground-breaking tuition, workshops, activities, co-writing and networking with a delicious lunch, morning tea and great environment. Organisations and Community Aimed at festivals, organisations and events. These workshops are held at your establishment and are designed to suit your needs. Usually held over 1-2 days and include a performance by songwriters, song critique and an overview of the business side of songwriting.
