The Bushwackers have been described by Rolling Stone Magazine as ‘The Australian Band’. Two time Golden Guitar winners including the most recent, Australian Bush Ballad Of The Year at the CMAA Country Music Awards in 2010. After almost 40 years of live performances and touring through Australia and the world, 19 studio albums, awards and accolades, The Bushwackers continue to produce albums and perform live. Their latest Valley Studio production isAustralian Songbook II andLive and Loud at The Longyard DVD.
The Heartleys are the unstoppable and young contemporary country duo from Southland, New Zealand. Kayla Mahon and Taylor Cairns and are a force to be reckoned with. Winners of the 2008 New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards, The Heartleys recorded their self titled debut album at The Valley Studio in 2008 with a ground swell of industry, media and fan support resulting in invitations to premier Australian and International festivals, and Top 30 Chart activity.
The Lees are an Australian country, folk/roots band, and clearly marked the arrival of their Valley Studio production, Welcome Road with their first ever appearance on the Australian Country Tracks Top 30 chart. Debuting at number 28 and quickly shot to be a Top Ten hit. The Lees are an eclectic bunch of individuals; a 6 piece family band fronted by siblings Raechel and Faith Lee, with Jarod and Savannah and Mum and Dad, Tracey and Steve, who have toured as a family for the past 10 years.
Fiona Fields is a very likable new face in country. Her 2009 Valley Studio production is Good To Go - a highly contemporary, debut country rock album with a healthy dose of self effacing charm and wit. Good To Go served as a platform to enter the 2010 Starmaker competition and scored Fiona a finalist berth. The release of her first single to radio, Dirt combined with a successful album launch and has provided the building blocks for a strong and steady rise in her profile.

Kate Linke emerged from the red dirt and dusty paddocks of remote Western Australian as young singer/songwriter. A uniquely Australian voice with a repertoire of original, well crafted, co-written songs that explore Australian stories and experiences. Kate’s debut Valley Studio album, Red Dirt grabbed the attention of industry and fans and in 2010 won her the WA Country Music Senior Songwriter Award, a finalist berth in the 2010 WA Country Music Best New Talent Award and a ABBA Star Quest Finalist for 2010.
Polly Medlen is singer/songwriter from remote WA. Polly is the 'alternative road' and her album crosses musically through country, folk and rock while her lyrics draw insightful images from her life and times. With her Valley Studio production Easier To Run in hand, Polly picked up the WAM Country Song of The Year Award and had the opportunity to support true greats like Ian Moss (Cold Chisel) and Shane Howard and Neil Murray on the legendary "Two Songman Tour". In 2007 she took out the WAM Country Song of the Year and Regional Song of the Year.
Ian Quinn is Golden Guitar winning songwriter and has quietly earned himself a reputation as ‘Australia’s songman’ with awards and accolades to support it. His songwriting credits rate amongst the best in country music with over a hundred songs recorded by artists like Slim Dusty and Anne Kirkpatrick. His Valley Studio productions, River Or The Road and Quinny have been described as ‘the measure of great Australian songwriting and production’.
Tracy Coster The release of Tracy Coster’s Valley Studio production, Moving On marked a significant milestone in her career, resulting in a Golden Guitar Nomination at the CMAA 2010 Country Music Awards for Bush Ballad Of The Year. Daughter of Australia’s legendary Bush Balladeer, Stan Coster, Moving On keeps the spirit of tradition alive with a new generation of songs that clearly marks Tracy as an artist in her own right. Tracy consistently appears on the Top 30 Country Tracks Chart, with impressive tours and festival performances.
Anita Ree is arguably one of Australia’s leading female Bush Balladeers. With a long list of achievements and awards, Anita Ree tours solidly throughout Australia performing at festivals with her unique voice, engaging performance and Australian songs. With two albums produced at The Valley Studio, Bush Girls Heart and Story Songs, Anita’s career has gone from strength to strength and scored her a Golden Guitar Nomination for Bush Ballad of The Year in 2007 on Bush Girls Heart.
Michelle Little is a classically-trained, diva inspired, country artist who has the country firmly in her heart and the Country Music industry firmly in her sights. Michelle’s Valley Studio production Hear Me Now was released in December 2007 and her first single Free To Be Me received national support on country music radio. In 2009 Michelle Little delivered a remarkable performance at her Tribute To The Music Of Patsy Cline Show and firmly placed herself well and truly on the country music map.
Peter Pratt is veteran of production from The Valley Studio,and a smooth western crooner, and audiences his performances. Four consecutive radio hits from his debut album Ever True, including two Top Ten hits and two Golden Guitar nominations are a true reflection of his talent and integrity. Add to that a swag of awards and finalist nominations from the Nevertheless and Rope Around My Heart productions, including a TIARA and the Australian Independent Country Music Award and you begin to realise how special this man and his voice really is.
Korey Livy - You name it and Korey Livy has done it! This is a man with boundless passion and pride and bucket loads of real life experience – he is a natural storyteller in performance and song, and has plenty of industry experience to boot. That’s The Way We Do It Round Here, produced at The Valley Studio is real testament to his amazing life experiences and skill as a singer and songwriter. From track 1 to 12, its rollercoaster ride every way you hear it.
Natalie Brandt grew up sleeping on the pillows intended for a drum kit at band rehearsals, it comes as no surprise to find Natalie Brandt, daughter of country music entertainer, Kel-Anne Brandt, beating the same drum as her mum. Natalie has produced a self titled EP at The Valley Studio that highlights her experiences, strong country music influences and confident vocal ability.
Kel-Anne Brandt is nicknamed the "Pocket Rocket" , she is an amazing bundle of the power and energy for such a small little lady. One of the hardest working entertainers in the industry and 5 times nominee of the Mo Award, Kel-Anne relentlessly works to get her music heard. Her Valley Studio production, I’m A Big Girl Now has scored her plenty of radio airplay and placed her at number one of the Hot FM Top 100 for the single ‘Top Of My List’.
Laura Downing The most recent recording from Laura is How Blue and is a departure from her 6 previous albums. The Valley Studio produced How Blue in 2009 with a clear mandate - highlight Laura’s stunning vocal ability. An award winning, multi talented Yodeller, Comedienne and Balladeer Laura has toured extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA and Europe working with or sharing the stage with Lee Kernaghan, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Adam Brand, Melinda Schneider, Wayne Horsburgh, The Topp Twins(NZ).
Nicki Gillis. Lucy’s Daughter was produced at The Valley Studio in 2006 and her into the country music limelight with 3 consecutive Top Ten Hits on the Australian Country Tracks Top 30, and number 1 on the UK Hotdisk chart and a swag of other European Top Ten Hits that followed. She toured the album through the USA, UK and Europe, performed for the troops in East Timor, Soloman Islands and the Middle East. Most recently she won the Frank Ifield International Spur Award.
Tracy Killeen was originally one part of the successful girl duo – Sweeny Killeen. After The Valley Studio produced, FUN and Along For The Ride (CMAA Golden Guitar Nomination) Tracy launched her solo career with the Valley Studio production, Back There at the Gympie National Music Muster and achieved the number 1 selling album of the festival. Tracy has since continued to ride the success of the album with consecutive Top Ten chart hits, a TIARA’s and the People’s Choice Awards, TV appearances on ‘Escape with ET’, ‘Landline’, the BBC UK Production, ‘World Music’ and the ‘TODAY’ Show.
Sarah McMonagle launched her career with a Valley Studio produced EP highlighting her fresh, homespun songwriting ability, crossing the boundaries of folk/country/acoustic. On the back of the successful EP Sarah gained entry into Country Music College in 2007, a Toyota Starmaker finalist in 2008 and a Shock publishing deal for the TV production, The Saddle Club.
